How it works
9 votes, 3 categories, every month
Every month, the Utopia Community sets aside part of its available capital for projects. Members from tier BASIC upward vote across three categories — environment, social and community — with up to three votes per category.
The highest-ranked proposals get implemented until that month’s budget is used up. An internal ethics board reviews every proposal beforehand for credibility and feasibility.

Yucatán reforestation
Reforestation and forest protection across 20,000 hectares in and around San Felipe Bacalar, Mexico, with Plant-for-the-Planet.
Forest preservation
Preserving a young mixed forest in the National Forest (East Staffordshire, UK) for long-term nature conservation.
Tree-planting project
Children plant and tend trees together with educators and gardeners in Berlin — environmental protection with an educational mission.
As the development team, we only build the platform — the community decides which projects get funded.
